Summary

This session will share the recently published C40 Cities Guide on "Inclusive Climate Action" implementation as well as Case studies published from recent implementation projects on climate action and just transition, providing insights into key steps that policy makers and practitioners can take to ensure urban climate action in equitable, fair and inclusive, delivering a just transition. The session will outline key practical "how to" steps from the guide and demonstrate case studies from Global North and Global South on equitable urban climate action as a means of inspiration for those wishing to take action locally.The session will outline a practical framework for integrating equity and inclusion into the implementation of climate projects as well as lessons learned on equity and justice in climate action
