Summary

This session presents a practical and scalable methodology for creating and operating Resilient Territories Networks, enabling cities to address climate risks through integrated planning and shared financing. Grounded in the real-world experience of the Brazilian Network of Resilient Cities (launched at COP30), the approach is designed for replication across diverse contexts. We will demonstrate how territorial networks strengthen the climate-housing-water nexus, accelerate Nature-Based Solutions (NbS), and enhance access to climate finance. By shifting from isolated municipal actions to collaborative arrangements, cities improve resilience and housing security. The session combines technical presentations (30%) with highly interactive World Café dynamics (70%), where participants will prototype network models for their own regions, fostering peer learning and practical implementation pathways aligned with the GRAA's core principles of empowering cities and co-production of knowledge.
