WGIC proposes a session highlighting success stories from member companies working with cities to advance climate action, emphasizing the critical role geospatial and AI technologies play in addressing urban climate challenges. The session will present real-world case studies demonstrating how geospatial data, analytics, digital platforms, and emerging living digital twins support urban climate resilience, emissions monitoring, infrastructure planning, and informed decision-making. Speakers will share practical insights from their work with cities, illustrating how geospatial tools, sensors, and data-driven services are being integrated to better understand and manage climate-related risks at the local level. Through short presentations followed by an interactive discussion, the session will explore best practices, lessons learned, and the importance of public–private collaboration in accelerating climate action. The panel aims to provide city leaders, policymakers, and industry stakeholders with actionable examples of how geospatial solutions can support data-driven climate strategies and contribute to more sustainable and resilient urban environmnet
