Summary

The Urban Climate Change Research Network (UCCRN) has launched a City Solutions Case Study Atlas (City CSA), an online platform that integrates diverse case studies focused on climate solutions with an interactive global map containing multiple data layers of information and data. It seeks to provide evidence for academics, urban policymakers, city practitioners, city networks, civil society, and the financial sector to facilitate equitable knowledge transfer and support the development and implementation of context-specific, science-informed urban climate solutions.

This session will provide an introductory description of the project. It will then transition into a workshop in which participants will work on developing potential case studies. Small groups will be formed, bringing together stakeholders interested in developing a case study, for example, local decision-makers of a specific municipality. Participants will have 5 minutes to select a case study to work on, and 30-35 minutes to discuss the segments of a format for developing case studies. We will close the session by opening the floor for 10-15 minutes to all participants to learn about their experience.
